Adriano Fit Hadapi Bayern

Roma - AS Roma bisa bernafas lega dengan kondisi Adriano. Striker Brasil ini dapat dibawa oleh Roma guna menghadapi Bayern Munich setelah pulih lebih awal dari masalah hamstringnya. Adriano belum pernah dimainkan di musim ini oleh pelatih Claudio Ranieri setelah mengalami masalah ototnya di akhir Agustus kemarin. Namun kini mantan pemain Inter Milan ini memiliki kesempatan untuk melakukan debutnya bersama Il Lupo.

Ia telah dinyatakan fit dan masuk dalam skuad Roma yang akan bertandang ke ke Allianz Arena , Rabu (15/9/2010). Bukan hanya Adriano, seperti dilansir Reuters, sang kapten Francesco Totti pun bisa dibawa setelah pulih dari gangguan virus.

Meski demikian, bek Philippe Mexes, gelandang Rodrigo Taddei dan pemain depan Mirko Vucinic absen dalam laga tandang Liga Champons ini karena cedera. Sementara John Arne Riise juga dinyatakan masih belum fit.

Tentu saja ini menjadi tugas bagi pelatih Ranieri untuk dapat segera membentuka skuadnya yang tangguh. Apalagi mereka baru saja ditaklukkan oleh Cagliari dengan skor telak 1-5 di laga kedua Seri A akhir pekan kemarin.

Debut Pertama Ibra Bersama Milan, Gagal Total

Milan - Zlatan Ibrahimovic melakukan debutnya untuk AC Milan dengan pahit. Mantan bosnya di Inter Milan, Massimo Moratti, tidak bersimpati atas kegagalan bomber internasional Swedia itu. Ibrahimovic langsung menjadi starter dalam partai perdananya bersama Milan hari Sabtu (11/9/2010) lalu melawan tim promosi Cesena di Seri A. Di akhir laga ia harus merasakan kekalahan timnya itu dengan skor 0-2.
Yang lebih memilukan adalah, bintang pinjaman dari Barcelona itu tidak berhasil menyarangkan bola ke gawang lawan dari titik penalti. Eksekusinya di menit-menit terakhir mengenai mistar gawang.

Beberapa jam sebelumnya Inter juga turun ke lapangan, dan mereka meraih kemenangan setelah bermain seri di pekan pertama. Pasukan La Beneamata unggul 2-1 atas Udinese.

Moratti, yang sempat berharap Ibrahimovic tidak bergabung ke Milan yang notabene rival besar Inter, memberi komentar atas kegagalan eks pemain kesayangannya itu. Buat dia, kegagalan Ibrahimovic melengkapi kegembiraan suporter Nerazzurri di hari itu.

"Dari sebuah sudut pandang tertentu, kemarin adalah hari yang sempurna untuk fans Inter. Tapi tidak buat saya secara pribadi," tukas raja minyak Italia itu lewat situs resmi timnya, Senin (13/9).

"Saya menonton Ibra, dan dia mengenai gawang. Tidak meleset sih, tapi juga tidak masuk," sambungnya.

Para Juara Berkumpul di Grup G Liga Champion

Undian babak penyisihan grup Liga Champions di Monaco tak memberikan banyak kejutan, dengan pengecualian di Grup G. Para juara Liga Champions, Real Madrid, AC Milan, dan Ajax, bertemu di grup itu, ditambah klub asal Perancis, Auxerre.

Ini menjadi ‘grup neraka’. Terutama Madrid, Milan, dan Ajax termasuk langganan juara. Gelar ketiganya jika digaung menjadi 20 gelar. Madrid juara 9 kali, AC Milan 7 kali, dan Ajax 4 kali.



Sementara itu juara bertahan Inter Milan berada di Grup A. Inter termasuk menghadapi tantangan lebih ringan. Mereka akan bertemu Werder Bremen, Tottenham Hotspur, dan FC Twente.

FIFA World Cup™ in 3D wins international award

FIFA’s efforts to constantly improve fans’ viewing experience of football have been recognised by the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC), the leading international forum for the electronic media industry. At a ceremony in Amsterdam on Sunday, FIFA was awarded the prestigious Judges’ Prize for its decision – with only six months to go before kick-off – to broadcast the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ in 3D




FIFA shares the prize with its partners in this sports viewing innovation, namely official FIFA Partner Sony, 2010 FIFA World Cup host broadcaster HBS, and FIFA Media Rights Licensee ESPN. The judges acknowledged the teamwork and admirable collaboration between the four entities in bringing the project to a timely and successful conclusion at such short notice.

Giants TE Boss has concussion

East Rutherford, NJ (Sports Network) - New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin confirmed at a Monday press briefing that tight end Kevin Boss suffered a concussion in Sunday's win over Carolina.
Boss will got through the rigors of the new NFL testing for concussions and will have to pass a battery of evaluations spanning a minimum of five days before he is able to be cleared for activity.

The fourth-year pro took a blow to the head on a pass intended for him early in the first quarter, was carted off the field and did not return. Last season, Boss had 42 catches for 567 yards and five touchdowns.

Coughlin also said second-year offensive lineman William Beatty has a fractured foot and will undergo surgery and that linebacker Chase Blackburn has a sprained knee. Selengkapnya...
